• Assurance that your house has a solid and uncompromised foundation
CONS:
• HOA approval needed if applicable - their guidelines may limit what you want to do
• Can be time-consuming when planning and seeking out licensed contractors
• Unforeseen events and costs - staying on budget may be challenging
• Possible permitting or construction delays
• Possible delivery delays of appliances, countertops, windows, etc.
• Products needed or wanted may not be readily available
